Being Grateful

Showing gratitude towards someone when they go out of their way to lend you a hand is what makes someone’s life peaceful. But why is it when a spouse does the same thing for their other half the gratitude is not shown? I mean does your spouse not deserve the same respectful attitude that anyone else does when he does something that you least expected and could have done yourself? After all anyone who loves you enough to do something that can put a smile on your face should be shown appreciation for their action. In fact when a spouse does it the reaction of appreciation should be enlarged because it shows you that he still cares after all of these years gone by. Spouses who keep in mind that the person they married deserves the best and actually gives it to them every chance they get makes for a happily married couple. And everyone knows that when a married couple are happily married they will stay together longer but more importantly they are more fun to be around than a married couple that does not put their spouse first in life. This type of behavior goes a long way in a marriage and people on the outside of the marriage can see the difference in the two types of marriages.
