Our parents celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last July of the current year. But unlike other families, much more we want to offer them to renew their vows in an extravagant way, we could not, for we are not capable to cater such expensive occasion. It is really seldom to get into that age being together in the matrimony of marriage, but scarcity hinders us to provide a classy celebration.
But we, their siblings together with their grandchildren, gathered and shared the simple dinner we prepared. We shared some food with our neighbors to be part of our celebration, though it’s not that extravagant, that’s our simple way of gratitude for blessing our parents to have attained 50 years of their lives being together.
Despite the plainness of the occasion, we’re all happy that everybody made themselves available to join with them on this especial occasion. What we had is a simple but happy anniversary celebration.
