My cousin’s wedding wasn’t agreed by my aunt
December 26, 2008
My cousin with her boyfriend planned to get married before the beginning of 2009. She and her boyfriend has everything planned and ready. Now, their only obstacle is my aunt and my uncle. They are so strongly oppose this wedding, and they want my cousin to wait for 1 or more years. Because of this, my cousin was depressed and upset lately, due to the fact that she can go on wedding without her parents’ participating.
The major reason that my aunt and uncle oppse this wedding is her boyfriend has no stable income for the family. He has no house, no sufficient fund to fund this wedding arrangement. They were worrying that she might not live in comfort or might facing financial difficulties too, if she married him.
First of all, he has no house to start a family with. After married, my cousin still has to live with my aunt and uncle. Second of all, he has minimal money to fund this wedding party and ceremony. Finally, he has no stable income for a new family. After all these reasons to consider, my aunt and uncle just want her to wait a couple years to get marry.
I understand that love not unnecessarily counting on money. But without stable finance, a happy marriage might also facing unpleasure time sometimes.
