nuggets of wisdom
May 14, 2008
here are some simple tips on how you can keep your married life meaningful.
* the real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right place at the right time but to leave unsaid the wrong things at the most tempting moment.
* sunrise reminds us that we live in a world where the happiest miracles still happen.
* let your love be stronger than your hate and anger. learn the wisdom of compromise for it is better to bend a little than to break.
* one of the best ways to persuade others is to listen to them. you’ll find that a gossip talks to you about others, a bore talks to you about himself, and a brilliant conversationalist talks to you about yourself and then listens to your reply.
* let your heart guide you. it whispers so listen carefully.
* if nature has made you a giver, your hands are born open, and so is your heart. and though there may be times when your hands are empty, your heart is always full, and you can give things out of that.
* when God measures the greatness of an individual, He puts the tape measure around the heart, not the head.
