Fruit and Flower Wedding Cakes

Two of my fav wedding things: Offbeat Bride and pretty cakes.
I love fresh flowers on a wedding cake, it always seems so classy. I’m a sugar fiend, I love almost anything you can do with icing. (I think I’m also the only person in the world who’ll eat the marzipan fruit off a Christmas cake.) But these cakes are a great alternative to a sugarfest, and the look is half laid-back summer bbq and half elegant restaurant.
What do you think? Would you do a fruit cake for you wedding? Stick to the traditional white layers? Pile cupcakes on a cake stand?
